Paris has plenty of wonderful toy stores if you are looking for unique or interesting finds. 1. Le Bon Marché department store
As one of Paris’s most famous department stores, Le Bon Marché offers a luxurious shopping experience with an amazing toy section. In fact, the entire third floor of Le Bon Marché Rive Gauche is a beautifully decorated wonderland that’s dedicated entirely to kids featuring fashion, footwear, toys, books, and accessories for all ages and budgets. From beloved classic brands to the latest trends, there’s something here to suit everyone.
For many parents, the highlight of the third floor is the “Récré des Enfants” area. While you browse for the perfect gifts, you can safely leave your little ones aged 4 to 10 with child experts at this Children’s Area, who will engage with them in fun recreational workshops: drawing, reading, cooking, and playing. This area is open from 11 am to 18.30 pm every Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday. During Parisian school holidays, it’s open every day. Kids can join the fun at any time, subject to available space. Activities run throughout the day, with special thematic workshops at 11 am, 14.30 pm, and 16.30 pm. It costs €12 per hour, with a maximum of two hours per day. 2. Si Tu Veux
Si Tu Veux is a charming toy store located in the gorgeous 19th century covered passage, Galerie Vivienne, nestled between the Bourse and Palais Royale. This relatively small shop sells simple and beautiful classic toys for all ages, along with birthday party supplies and games. The store has plenty on offer including wooden toys, creative materials and educational games. The owner’s passion for toys shines through in the carefully curated selection, making Si Tu Veux a favorite among both locals and tourists.

3. Pain d’Epices
When I first saw the name of the shop “Pain d’Épices“, I mistakenly thought the shop sold actual French spice bread. It turned out to be a paradise for children’s toys. Traditional wooden toys coexist harmoniously with modern counterparts. However, the true showstopper is the incredible assortment of dollhouses, complemented by hundreds of miniature figures and objects. From tiny perfume bottles to musical instruments, the store captures the essence of daily life in perfect replicas. Pain d’Épices has been a cherished destination for over 50 years and is a must-visit shop for unique toys.
It’s located in a beautiful covered passage called Passage Jouffroy, just a 10 minute walk from another toy store, Si Tu Veux.

4. Le Petite Prince
Inspired by the beloved book “Le Petit Prince” by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, this charming store in the Saint-Germain-des-Prés neighborhood is a tribute to the iconic character. Fans of “Le Petit Prince” will especially love the themed items, while children will love the storybooks and plush toys. In addition, the online store offers a wide variety of Le Petite Prince themed products to purchase from the comfort of your home.
